German courses/ Integration courses/ Job-related courses

Hello-World-In-Several-Languages

Who wants to work in Germany, should be able to speak and write German. Depending on the profession and employer knowledge we recommend German on level B1 or higher.

There are normal and special German courses.

1. “normal” German courses

For German course providers please contact the Regionalbüro für berufliche Fortbildung:

Regionalbüro für berufliche Fortbildung Tuttlingen
Obere Hauptstraße 4, 78532 Tuttlingen
Tel.: 07461-72717
Email: tuttlingen@regionalbuero-bw.de

2. Special German courses

a) Without German knowlegde

Integration courses (German language and orientation courses)

Inhalt: Deutsch (bis maximal B1) und Themen wie: deutsche Rechtsordnung, Geschichte, Kultur und Werte.

How to register for a course:

  • Fill out the application form for an integration course issued by the Federal Agency for Migration and Refugees (Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge). You can get this application form from language schools.
  • You will get the answer by phone or by mail (may take 2-3 weeks)
  • Once your application is accepted you can get a grant to cover some of the costs of the integration course. You will only have to pay a low contribution to take part.
  • You do not have to be registered as “looking for work” (arbeitssuchend) to take part in an integration course. But it is a good idea to register as “looking for work”, because you then get additional advice from the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit).
